Osteopathic services are offered by Helen Coutts located in central Soller, Mallorca.

Appointments are available Monday- Friday 9.30 am- 1pm

At this present moment all Osteopathic consultations are conducted in English. Thank you for your understanding.

Prices

Initial consultation up to One Hour: 70 Euros.

Return consultation up to 45 Minutes : 60 Euros.

About Osteopathy

Osteopathy is a body based form of therapeutic touch that supports wellbeing. The practice of Osteopathy is underpinned by a philosophy that sees the person as a whole unitary of function and is informed by a deep knowledge of anatomy and physiology that Osteopaths gain through their 4-5 years university level education. Osteopathy utilises what is referred to in contemporary science as a salutogenetic approach that focuses on supporting health.

What to expect when you consult with an Osteopath.

When you visit with Helen, during the initial consultation and with your consent she will listen and discuss with you your personal lifestyle and medical history with the purposes of helping to understand your individual needs and how you maybe best supported and if Osteopathy is the best means of care for your needs. Following this Helen will observe and perform a considered physical assessment of movements and posture, and then proceed this with treatment. Osteopaths are skilled in a variety of techniques that utilise therapeutic touch such as massage, stretching, lymphatic techniques and gentle approaches that use a lighter from of touch. Each treatment is bespoke to your individual needs. Post treatment Helen aims to support your autonomy and empower you in your own care and offers discussion on self care practices that you can implement following treatment and greatly encourages open dialogue for you to express any concerns or needs that you may have. Helen’s practice is deeply rooted in respect, dignity and your right to autonomy in your own care.

What to expect when consulting an Osteopath with children.

When providing care for children time is taken to consider the child and families previous health and medical history including a pregnancy and birth history that helps to inform your care. There is no expectation on young babies or children to sit quietly throughout the consultation. For young babies they maybe comforted by feeding during a consultation or with soothing toys that help to calm them. For older children you may bring books, soothing toys so that they may feel comfortable and able to relax through the consultation. Childhood is a time of great physical development and change and Osteopathy offers safe gentle approaches to help support children and their families through this time.

Privacy Policy.

All your personal information is treated with the upmost of care and confidentiality ensuring that private files are securely locked .Your information is not shared without your consent. In certain instances it maybe appropriate to share your information with other health care practitioners to ensure you get the quality of care you need but will not do so unless your explicit consent is given.

Bookings.

Can be made by contacting Helen on +447879783093. Messages are responded to till most evenings during the week and are not responded on the weekend. It may not be possible to respond straight away but during week days aim to respond to you on the same working day.

Cancellation Policy.

It is politely requested that 24 hours notice is given should you wish to cancel an appointment. A Fee of 20 Euros is charged in the event that you fail to do so.

Location of Clinic and Services.

There is no car parking on site for the central Soller practice. Paid parrking is available in Soller with the practice a 5-10 minute walk away. Toilets, nappy changing facilities are available onsite. The practice is located up on the third floor with stair access however if alternative access is needed this can be acco

Refunds are chosen not to be offered on Osteopathic Services. If for any reason you are dissatisfied by your experience and wish to make a complaint, please refer to the complaints procedure below.
