HEALTH AND WELLBEING.

Tenderness.

Perhaps the most indispensable thing we can do as human beings, every day of our lives, is remind ourselves and others of our complexity, fragility, finiteness, and uniqueness.” ― Antonio R. Damasio

In a world that can sometimes feel harsh, to harden against it can be out default protection. Closing us to the wonder and the challenges of what living brings. The constant fluctuations of life demands of us fluidity, connection, a willingness to embrace each other in all our foibles, our ingraces. To harden against it, it to feel inside a ridgety that will brace us against life’s tribulations rather than to be able to adapt to them, to feel them. To find within us a resovour of softeness, is perhaps what opens to us a presence an ability to be with life as it unfolds, in all its mess, in all its glory. Frequently we’re reminded of life’s delicacy only in the most extreme of moments, in its beginnings and its ends, when tenderness springs into our senses yet what if we could retain this tenderness throughout our approach to everyday living? How would life feel then? Maybe tenderness the antidote to live in a modern world. What do you think?
