A Moment to Pause.

In a culture that values productivity resting can seem like an act of rebellion. Yet resting can be as essential to activity as the activity itself. In her book Sacred Rest: Recover Your Life, Renew Your Energy, Restore Your Sanity, Dr Saundra Dalton- Smith specifies that there are seven different types of rest. Physical, mental, social, spiritual, sensory, emotional and creative rest that support the body to heal, regenerate, grow. May we take a moment to pause and ask ourselves what kind of rest it is we need?
