MOTHERING AND CAREGIVING.

For the Unseen.

Mothering and caregiving is an experience that can lie in between the concrete and the intangible. It’s an experience which often exists beyond an ability to articulate or express it. Holding within it an invisible quality. The unseen mental and emotional loads that are carried, the worn tracks of worry and surrender. The physical work that is seen yet not. The language of caregiving is often silent and felt. A pressing against the heart, a reminder of the urgency and poignancy of the life-giving and sustaining nature of caregiving work. So often transparent, but in its silence so profound.
